On 1st January 2022, Kalapataru Divas was celebrated at the Prayer hall of the secondary section.
Students of Middle and Secondary Hostel, devoted staff members and monastic members took part in the celebrations. Arati, bhajans, reading from 'Sri Ramakrishna The Great Master' and lectures marked the day.
On Tuesday, 04th January 2021, the interblock cricket tournament final match was conducted at the Higher Secondary Section field between Acharya Ramanuj Block and Acharya Madhva Block. Acharya Ramanuj Block won the tournament.
46th Annual Athletic meet of Ramakrishna Mission School, Narottam Nagar was held on Friday and Saturday 7th & 8th January 2022. Shri Lim Modi, APCS, Circle Officer, Borduria, Dist. Tirap, Arunachal Pradesh, was the chief guest and Sri Telem Kitnva, JE (DRDA) was the Guest of Honor.
On 12th January 2022, the birthday of Patriotic Monk Swami Vivekananda was observed as National Youth Day in all sections of the institution. In the secondary section, a special assembly was held. Swamijis and Staff members and selected students offered floral tributes to Swamiji's statue in front of the school and Swamiji's portrait in the school. Dr Chayon Bangyang, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, Wangcha Rajkumar Government College, Deomali and Swami Achyuteshanandaji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar addressed our Higher Secondary Students and stressed the life and works of Swami Vivekananda and called upon the Youth for the cause of Service of our Motherland. Elocution, extempore speech, painting and patriotic solo and group song competitions were conducted in Higher Secondary section and a painting competition was conducted at Sarada Vidyalaya.
The 160th Birthday tithi Puja of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated at the Secondary Section Prayer hall of Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar on 25th Jan 2022. Vivek Chetana - a wall magazine was released in Higher Secondary section. At the Secondary Prayer Hall of the institution Special Puja, Havan was performed, Monastic Members and Teachers rendered Bhajans. Swami Achyuteshanandaji discussed the life of Swami Vivekananda. All were served Khichuri prasad at the Secondary and Middle hostel dining hall.
The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated at Mahavir Stadium of Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar.
Monastic Members and Staff members of all the wings of the institution along with some boys took part in the simple ceremony. The ceremony was downscaled due to covid pandemic related closure.
Swami Achyuteshanandaji hoisted the tricolour and addressed the assembly. Some boys presented speeches and teachers rendered songs and recitations. All were presented with snack packets after the function.
As per tradition, Saraswati Puja was performed on Saturday, 05th February 2022 at the Prayer Hall of the Secondary Section of Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar. Monastic Members, students of classes 10, 11 and 12 along with staff members took part in the puja. Bhajans, Instrumental music was presented before Devi Saraswati the Goddess of Knowledge and Wisdom. Special Puja, Homa and Arati were performed in the morning hours of Saturday. The concluding worship (Visarjan Puja) was performed on Sunday 06th February 2022.
Annual Prize Giving Ceremony 2022 was celebrated on Friday, 25th February at Vivekananda Sabhagriha of Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar.
Professor J P Verma, Vice-Chancellor, Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University, Chabua, Dibrugarh, Assam dignified the celebration as the Chief Guest and Swami Vedasarananda Maharaj Ji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Purnananda Road, Dibrugarh, Assam graced the function as the Guest of Honor.
Prizes were distributed for sports, academic and cultural achievements to the students and staff members were also awarded by the guests.
Farewell of outgoing students of Class X and XII of the session 2021-22 was conducted at Vivekananda Sabhagriha of Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar on Saturday, 26th February 2022. Students presented speeches and songs and took blessings from Monastic members and Teachers. Light refreshments were served to all after the function.
On 1st March 2022, special puja of Lord Shiva was performed at the Devabhumi temple complex on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri.
The 187th birth tithi puja of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna is being observed with due solemnity at Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar on 4th March 2022. Special Puja, Havan and arati are being performed at Secondary Prayer Hall. At the Higher Secondary Section, a special prayer was conducted which was followed by the unveiling of 'Ramakrishna Chetanna' a wall magazine brought out by the students of HS Hostel.
Devotees, staff members and others will be served with Kichuri prasad at noon after Bhog Arati.
The aptitude test of class 1 was conducted on Sunday, 06th March 2022 at the Secondary Section of Ramakrishna Mission School, Narottam Nagar. Around 235 candidates from all parts of Arunachal Pradesh have appeared in the test.
The festival of colours, Holi was celebrated on 18th March 2022 at Debabhumi Temple Complex.
Students of classes 10, 11 and 12 visited Golden Pagoda at Namsai along with some monastic members and a few staff members on Sunday, 20th March 2022 on an excursion.
